As physicians, we are required to consistently search for ways and means to alleviate the pain and suffering of our patients. It is our utmost concern and responsibility to make their lives better by delivering the best possible health care. If the use of medical marijuana provides modest relief to many common illnesses, it seems prudent to use it in those patient populations for whom such benefits have been found. Are you committed to relieving your patients’ suffering?
Every day we come face to face with patients relying on us to provide the assistance they need to obtain a recommendation for medical marijuana. By the look in their faces we know they honestly need it…and for all the right reasons. Not surprisingly, more and more physicians are getting involved with Nevada’s medical marijuana card program so their patients can obtain the legal medication they need, from legal sources.
The Valley Center for Cannabis Therapy provides an option to refer your patients.
If you have a patient who you think might benefit from medical marijuana, we invite you to work with us so that more patients in the Valley are able to experience its medicinal benefits. We also encourage healthcare providers to contact us should they have any questions regarding medical marijuana. We at Valley Center for Cannabis Therapy believe that an educated community is a thriving community, and we are here to ensure that you have the information to make the right decisions regarding your patients’ well being.
If you have chronically ill patients who have had little to no response to their current treatment regimens, please consider medical marijuana as a viable alternative. With growing concern over the use of opioids and the risk of addiction, medical marijuana may be useful in reducing or eliminating your patients’ needs for such dangerous and addictive medications. Additionally, the risk of marijuana related overdose pales in comparison to the daily deaths seen with opioid overdose. If you have a patient who you think may benefit from medical marijuana, please complete and fax in a Referral Form to (702) 906-0202 and allow Valley Center for Cannabis Therapy to assess them and make the appropriate recommendations.
When faxing in the referral form, please attach the most recent medical records providing documentation of the illness for which they are being referred. Our fax number is (702) 906-0202. After receiving the patient referral and supporting documentation, we will determine if any further information is needed and will contact you immediately to make such requests..
Not sure if your patients qualify? Our physicians will determine if the medical condition of a patient would be improved by the use of medical marijuana. Rest assured that we will provide your patients with a secure, confidential and professional office visit.
If you or your patients should have any further questions, please feel free to contact us. Our staff are available to address your concerns in a timely manner.
